I use my head - GVW Cele

Celestine Adams contestant number 1 of Ghana's Virtuous Woman competition last Friday said that a virtuous woman is not an idler, neither a fine lady,  but one who uses her head, her hands and her heart for the good of others.  This she quoted from the English novelist and poet, Thomas Hardy. With an unbeatable eloquence display, the level 200 Jayee University student further educated and entertained her audience on the hardworking attribute of a virtuous woman.  "I believe I have all it takes to be the Virtuous Woman 2017. I therefore urge Ghanaians to support me by voting massively for me and I won't let them down" she said.  Nevertheless, the ultimate question still remains unanswered, Who wins Ghana's Virtuous Woman 2017?

I Walk my Talk

Indeed, Nickla Akosua Adu-Gyamfi does not just talk but walks her talk. This she demonstrated last Friday night during the fashion show and live performance of Ghana's Virtuous Woman Reality Show of which she is a contestant. Prior to the show, the stage giant Nikki said that her passion for fashion drives her walk in great outfits. The 22yrs old contestant swept away the best model award for the night.  'I was not surprised at all because I have said this before, that great outfits brings out the skills in me and I displayed that to my satisfaction thanks to sleek couture for my outfit ' this she said when asked about her thought on the award she won coupled with her performance for the night. Nikki added that the only competitor she has is herself and is ready to work hard on the comments passed by the judges. She believes she has what it takes to be crowned the virtuous woman 2017. Nevertheless, the ultimate question still remains unanswered, Who wins Ghana...

Once a queen, Always a Queen

Miss Gordor Anita, the 24yrs old Volta regional representative of the Ghana's Virtuous Woman Reality Show, last Friday educated her audience on 'peace' as an important attribute of a virtuous woman. The former Miss Tortsogbe 2016 indeed applied experience in her stage delivery that won her the best performer for the night. With a massive support on the night, Miss Anita Gordor gave her audience a thousand reasons to vote for her in order to be crowned as Ghana's Virtuous Woman 2017. 'I am poised for the show and as you know the Grande Finally is just around the corner so am going to work on the comments passed by the judges with regards to my stage delivery and trust me I will be good to go ' Anita also won a prize for the highest vote for the night. With so much confidence in winning the crown, the best I can do as a reporter is to wish her good luck but the ultimate question still remains unanswered who wears the crown ?

'BEAUTY' is just a 'Plus'

Miss Denise Darah, a 22yrs old contestant of Ghana's Virtuous Woman Reality show with the stage name DD, last Friday thrilled her audience with an outstanding performance that talks about generosity as an attribute of a virtuous woman.   The beauty queen added that beauty is just a plus to describe a virtuous woman. 'I am very beautiful but that doesn't make me a virtuous woman,  it just comes with it. A virtuous woman is kind and generous like I displayed in my act' Denise who received a pleasant comment from the judges exclaimed that she wouldnt allow the comment of the judges take the better part of her but she is determined to work extra hard in other to be crowned Ghana's Virtuous Woman 2017. Competing with 8 other contestants Denise is sure of driving home the brand new car, cash and crown but the ultimate question still remains unanswered who wears the crown? 

GVW female Judge makes history

Dr. Nana Anima Wiafe-Akenten, female judge of Ghana's Virtuous Woman Reality Show's fashion and live performance at the Airport view hotel last Friday has made history as Ghana's first PhD holder in TWI. Dr. Anima Wiafe-Akenten, a Mother of 4, wife, radio host of the 'Obaa Sima' show on Onua fm, an entrepreneur and female Judge of the Virtuous woman reality show was awarded last saturday during the graduation ceremony of the University of Education Winneba - Ajumako Campus. On behalf of the contestants and management of the Ghana's Virtuous Woman reality show we say congratulations to you madam and may the Almighty God Richly Bless you. 

The Crown, my Target

With the stage name as 'Abi', Miss Appiah Abigail says that her target in the competition is towards the crown. This statement she made in an exclusive interview with TV gold.  Miss Appiah Abigail is a 21yrs old fashion designer with an admirable height of 5.11ft tall who hails from Takoradi in the western Region of Ghana.  As an upcoming designer with an interest in acting and exploring new things, she believes that Ghana's Virtuous Woman is the first and foremost platform for her to unleash my potentials and make her dreams in life come true. "I am certain to be the next queen and i am working really hard towards that" she said. You can never judge a book by its cover so why don't you join Abigail at the Airport View Hotel this Friday as she proves herself. 

GVW Fashion Friday

For the past weeks in the Ghana's Virtuous Woman Reality house, contestants in their various ways have exhibited their capabilities of being crowned the virtuous woman 2017. The Virtuous Woman beauty Pageant is one that brings together young beautiful ladies from the various regions under one umbrella to achieve a common objective. This years edition features Iddrisu Hina, Gordor Anita, Nketia-Debrah Sandra, Bellogiwah Rasheeda, Adu-Gyamfi Nickla, Darah Denise, Appiah Abigail, Adams Celestine and Aduamah Christabel. These ladies on friday, 21st of July are poised to thrill their audience with spectacular performances at the Airport View Hotel. The night is set to award prizes like the best performer for the night, best model and the overall star preformer. In all these, the ultimate question still remains unanswered, Who becomes Ghana's Virtuous Woman 2017, who drives away the brand new car, who becomes the ambassador for the virtuous brand 2017?

FIRE for FIRE

"La" in the Ga language can as well mean fire and the ever fired and vibrant ladies of the 2017 Ghana's Virtuous Woman competition last Friday had a great time at the Labadi Beach hotel as part of their recreational or outdoor activities. Contestants of this prestigious beauty pageant are housed throughout the 8 weeks journey in other to be groomed by qualified instructors on the various segments of the pageant from speech presentation and delivery, catwalk, choreography etc. After a long week of indoor activities, the ladies decided to have a great time at the Labadi Beach in other to ease some stress and be refreshed towards the coming week.            "All work and no play indeed makes jack a dull boy" 

Virtuous Woman storms Blueskies

In their quest to rebrand indigenous values and Ghana made products for national development, the 2017 Ghana's Virtuous Woman contestants paid an industrial visit to Blueskies Ghana, the producers of freshly squeezed fruit juice and cut fruits. The beauty queens arrived at the factory at exactly 3:00pm and were warmly received by the management of blueskies. Mr. Alistair Djimatey, the public Relations and foundation manager of Blueskies took the ladies through a presentation on the evolution of the Blueskies company.  "Anytime the sky is blue fruits naturally ripe on their own and our founder Anthony Parle knew this. In Ghana, most at times our sky is always blue so he started his farm here and named the company Blueskies" He said. The ladies were walked in and around the factory as they asked questions and added their contributions in other to boost the Blueskies brand. Miss Sandra Nketia-Debrah with a stage name as Eno thanked the management of blueskies...

Yummy meets Yum-mie

The 2017 Yummy contestants of Icon Telenet in collaboration with TV gold, Ghana's Virtuous Woman last Thursday paid an industrial visit to Ghana's finest noodles producer Yummie. The visit was part of the activities of contestants this year  basically to learn about the production of some made in Ghana products like the yummie noodles. Ghana's Virtuous Woman is a beauty pageant that creates a platform for young beautiful and intelligent ladies to develop themselves and to enable them unleash their potentials.  The theme for this years competition is rebranding indigenous values and Ghana made products for national development.  The ladies were warmly received by management of yummie as they patiently toured and educated the ladies on the production and packaging of the yummie noodles we enjoy everyday. "Yummie oooo yummie, 3y3 d3 tu"

Virtuous not "Venom"

The competitive beauty pageant that has transformed several lives of young ladies since it's inception in 2016, is about launching its 2nd edition. Ghana's Virtuous Woman is a pageant that brings together 10 beautiful young ladies from the 10 regions of Ghana on one big platform to educate them in the virtues that make up a complete woman. "This years competition promises to be very edutaining, thus, educative and entertaining as the 10 ladies are poised to represent their various regions in a grand style" Said Mr.Nyarko, a member of the organising team. The launch which seeks to outdoor the 10 beutiful ladies is slated for 24th of June 2017 at the Accra City Hotel also known as the Novotel Hotel in Accra. In attendance to the launch will be some dignitaries in Ghana and of southern African countries. You don't want to miss.
